From headlining in New York City jazz clubs to laying down tracks in recording studios, Jared Winzelberg impresses wherever he performs. Playing gigs with professional musicians since he was 14, Jared is comfortable in front of an audience and has great stage presence. He was written up in the Long Island Press as “the future of jazz” when he was just 17. Jared has played guitar for professional productions of musicals like “Little Shop of Horrors”, “Rent”, the rock opera “Tommy” and several others. He’s been a featured performer at music festivals and dozens of live music venues from Manhattan to Montauk.

Born with perfect pitch, Jared has an incredibly discerning ear and a talent for arranging and producing original music. An award-winning guitarist, Jared is an accomplished bassist as well. He has worked as a visiting instructor for both instruments at his former high school, the Long Island School for the Arts in Syosset, and he is now available for lessons through Galliard Music. Jared earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the New School University’s School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York.
